Eggs in a Carton?
I bought some Eggs in a Carton. You know, like Egg Beaters (I got the generic stuff). It's 99% egg whites and 1%.... other things. Anyway, I don't mind egg whites, and because the yolks have almost all the fat, sodium & cholesterol, I can get the protein without all that other crap. So on Monday I make some Eggs in a Carton, and I take a bite. And had to spit it out. It tasted like chalk. I was disappointed, and tossed the rest in garbage. Today, I tried them again. There weren't as bad and I ate all of them. Maybe I will get used to them.
Anyone else have experience with Eggs in a Carton? Did you get used to the taste? Are Egg Beaters better (i.e., maybe its my generic store-brand Eggs in a Carton)?
It's too bad it doesn't come in a can. Because then I could call it Eggs in a Can. Heh.

Guess I'm on the only one who gets his poultry from a carton...
For those of you who bothered to read this, I just read something funny. I was reading online about the West Wing (to see if there were rumors about who would win the Dem. nomination). Somebody bitched about the degradation of WW's quality, because Vinnick's chief of staff was that "Mom from Home Improvement." So then someone else says, oh so she can't ever be in anything again? What about Martin Sheen? He was in that vietnam movie (pork lips now, or something like that).
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I am still laughing out loud, to myself, about it. Ahahaha. Pork lips now. Ahahahahahahaha. That just cracks me up.
